More Money For Small Business

Friday August 29, 2003
The provincial Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec fund manager and the Business Development Bank of Canada are creating a $300-million fund to invest in small businesses. The two institutions will co-invest, on an equal basis, in new investments in companies with financing needs ranging anywhere between $250,000 and $10-million (The Globe and Mail). News that more money is going to be available to small businesses is always good news in my book.
