An especially relevant quotation for entrepreneurs, I think, because it encapsulates both the reality and the misconception of running a business.
The reality is that you have to be daring and take risks if you're going to get a successful business off the ground or keep a business growing. The misconception is that you need to be a wild risk-taker to do either of these things. Yes, being an entrepreneur involves taking risks, but being a successful entrepreneur involves taking carefully considered risks, and there's a big difference.
