10 Cold Calling Tips

One of the most common mistakes cold call beginners make is thinking that the cold call is all about making the sale. It's not; the cold call is about getting the chance to make the sale. Specifically, the goal of the cold call is to make an appointment to make the pitch. Learn how to do this and make your cold calls a more successful experience with these cold calling tips.

I was thinking of cold calling via phone when I was writing this article, but don't forget that if it's possible, face-to-face cold calling is always better because it's always easier to form relationships with people face-to-face rather than over the phone.

So if it's appropriate to your product or service, why not get the comfortable shoes out and take a stroll? You can get some exercise and increase your chances of making a sale.
