Cool Tool of the Week: Start Up Costs Calculator

Sunday October 5, 2008
When you're starting a small business you need to know how much start up is going to cost. Questions such as how much money you're going to need to cover your costs for the months it takes your new business to make money, whether or not you need to borrow money and how much all have to be dealt with before you actually start your new business.

I provide a list of start up expenses and explain how to calculate your start up expenses in my article on preparing The Financial Plan Section of the Business Plan.

But it's always helpful to be able to punch in and tally numbers when you're trying to figure out your start up costs - as you can do with this Start Up Costs Calculator from About Retailing Guide Shari Waters.
