Don't Be Like Me & Forget to Promote Your Business

Sometimes it's hard to practice what we preach. For instance, the whole point of my article Don't Forget Your Promotion Kit! is that creating a promotion kit and carrying it with you means that you always have marketing materials with you that you can give to any interested person.

But what happened the other day when I was doing one of my volunteer shifts at the BC SPCA? A woman wanted to know more about this website and I didn't even have a business card on me! A great example, I guess, of "do what I say, not what I do".
