Why?

Because you have a business idea.

Sure, there are other reasons to write a business plan, but the main reason to write one is to find out if your business idea is "a good one", as in a viable business idea that has the chance to be successful and make money.

A lot of people have the misconception that people only need to do a business plan if they're looking for money, but that's not the case; anyone starting a business should work through one because they're such a great tool for forcing you to do the market research and examine all the details of actually turning your business idea into a real business.
