Small business
Small Business owners are largely forgotten. Thats why I only focus on them. I have experience several members of my family file bankruptcy due to small business failures. I also I suffered through 2 destroyed businesses due to failure however, in my failings I have learned some of the secrets to success. (Who can say they know it all?)
What I like about small business owners is that they are not afraid to take huge risks and lay it all on the line. But, I agree they do need a lot of help with their marketing. I think having them go the social media and email route is not only the least expensive but its also the most effective. Thanks for the stats!

That’s a huge list of some very good and cost effective methods of advertising for your business. I would like to add something thing to it too.
Taking your business on the road during the nice weather seasons or by getting a vehicle banner made for your advertisement also will help a lot and help you to make a mark in the market.

This could be the next big thing: 16millioncolours.com
You pay one dollar, but you are actually getting something.
Each user gets a unique colour which comes up as a line and when that line is clicked, your personalised content is displayed. So i guess this could be used for anyone, like people just to have their own colour and even for businesses to advertise.
Looks like a really good idea!
Some very good ideas here including some I have never even thought of. Will put some of these to the test and report back with results.
