ITBusiness.ca is having an elevator pitch contest for Canadian tech startups; you send them your video (no more than one minute long) pitching your business concept and making the case for why your startup needs the money and you could win $1,000.

Your video will be featured with other entries on the ITBusiness.ca website in a special section and some will have stories written about them.

What you need to be: a Canadian small business owner 18 or older starting a tech business. (Sorry; Quebec is excluded.)

What you need to do: create a video that presents your super-persuasive elevator pitch (that runs one minute or less).

One entry per small business owner!

The Contest runs until Dec. 16 at 5 PM ET., 2011.
