"We value small businesses and support them to pursue their passions," says Ken Wach, vice president of marketing for Intuit's Small Business Group.
And the company has a history of putting their money where their mouth is. Intuit's original Love a Local Business has awarded $1.2 million in grants and prizes to more than 100 U.S. small businesses since July 2009.
Now Canadian small businesses can get in on the action, too.
Through their Love Our Local Business contest, they'll be granting a wish a day for 15 days in December (December 3rd to 21st).To enter, go to Love Our Local Business, enter your business wish (up to $5,000), then let everyone know about wish and encourage them to vote for it - votes will help determine what the winning wishes are.
To enter, you need to be an American or Canadian resident 18 years or older and a small business owner. (The contest is void in Quebec though.)
