An Example of Green Marketing: MyFax

The 3 Keys to Successful Green Marketing, I wrote, are being genuine, educating your customers and giving your customers the opportunity to participate in green action(s).

This MyFax page is a perfect example of exactly what I was talking about. MyFax is an Internet fax service provider. You'll notice that while the bulk of the content on the page is designed to educate consumers about the benefits of the product, all of the benefits are environmental.

Notice, too, the prominence and immediacy of the environmental action. If you want to play a role in saving the environment, you can start right now by taking a free trial of the product. You're also given an option to do even more for the environment through a special offer that includes recycling your fax machine. Brilliant green marketing in my opinion.
