Save Some Trees With GreenPrint

Friday July 18, 2008
It really irks me when I print a page off the 'Net or a document and end up with an extra page that has nothing on it but a URL or a header. And it seems to happen almost every time!

Tree saving software for green business.
So I was really pleased to discover that there's software that solves the problem. GreenPrint highlights and removes unwanted pages so you print only what needs to be printed without the annoying extras. There's both a version to buy and a free version.

The average user, GreenPrint developers claim, will save about $90 a year in paper and ink. And just as importantly, you'll save some trees, too!

(The tree in the photo here is in Cathedral Grove, on the way to Port Alberni, B.C. It's a truly amazing forest you'll definitely want to visit if you're ever in the vicinity.)
