Welcome to the Canadian Small Business of the Month feature.

Recently chosen as "Most Unique New Business In Ontario", Confident Girls! is an award winning program that inspires girls to achieve great heights of confidence before they reach adulthood.
The program is available as five weeks of classes (of 90 minutes each) or as a twenty day workbook. Both teach teens problem-solving strategies, easy ways to make important decisions and choose great relationships, and about personal boundaries and taking control of their lives.
The Confident Girls! workbook is over 65 pages of inspiration and motivation to help girls age 7 through 11 see all their greatness. It's designed so that girls can walk a parent through the twenty day program with them, thereby getting twice the benefit.
Monique says, "The program has proven itself a hit with teenagers who have shown up half-an-hour to an hour early "just to talk" every time I have run it. Parents wonder why there wasn't a program like this when they were growing up. Many are certain that their lives would have been much different if there was!"
Monique also offers five week classes for Confident Teens!, one on one private tutoring of the five week course (in the home, on the 'Net, or by phone), and inspiring seminars for Confident Women! , as well as giving presentations or seminars in schools.
Monique's goals for 2002 include bringing her program to all areas of Durham (Ontario), and these goals are well underway. She now has facilities to run courses for the girls and teens in Pickering, Whitby, and Bowmanville.
