Saskatchewan Small Business Events in October
Billed as the biggest and best trade show in the province,
Business Expo 2001 is October 22 and 23 in Saskatoon. Presented by the
Saskatoon and District Chamber of Commerce, the show features The Corporate
Retreat and Technology for Business Success, and includes lots of opportunities
for business people in and around Saskatoon to meet potential clients, suppliers,
and buyers. The Trade Show runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
October 21 through 27 is the New Rural
Economy: From Challenges to Action - 2001 CRRF Conference in Muenster,

Meanwhile, the Regina Centre of Business
Development presents "How To Promote Your Business" on October 24 from 1 p.m.
to 4 p.m. This free seminar "covers
the basic tools every business owner needs to identify, plan and implement a
successful promotional strategy."

"An Introduction to Bookkeeping" for a modest fee. Dates run through

Manitoba Small Business Events in October
Interested in starting your own business? The Business Start Program
(organized by Manitoba Industry, Trade and Mines) starts October 22 in Brandon.
This free three day workshop covers business planning, legal requirements, bookkeeping,
marketing and business management, and runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Contact

service in Winnipeg. Service Moment by Moment Part 1 is October 22,
