Biztech BC Conference & Trade Show

Location: Forster's Convention Centre, Kamloops.
Date: October 16-18
Subtitled making $ense Out Of Technology, this conference is designed to help small to medium sized businesses find ways to use technology to increase their profits and make the day to day running of their businesses easier.
Keynote speakers include Micheal Campbell, David Chalk and Stephen Abbott.
A slate of seminars will be offered on topics such as finding skilled staff, online security, free and open source software, branding your company, client management and marketing, and learning how to start your own online business.

Thinking Outside The Box: 2nd Annual Small Business Trade Show

Location: The Coast Canadian Inn, Kamloops.
Date: October 24
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
This trade show features a Power Breakfast and lunch, on-site media, and information on topics such as Business Care and Community Futures to help you run your business more successfully.
Presented by: The Kamloops Chamber of Commerce.
Cost: $100 per booth or share a booth with another company for $50.

Business Excellence Awards 2002

Location: Forster's Convention Centre, Kamloops.
Date: October 26
Time: Champagne Reception 6 p.m.; dinner 6:30 p.m.
The Kamloops Chamber of Commerce annually recognizes businesses, organizations and/or individuals for outstanding achievement. A Silent and Live Auction fundraiser will be held as well, with proceeds going towards the operation of the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce.

15th Annual Business Excellence Awards
