Canada Business Centres

The Canada Business Network provides business support ranging from business information through business advice, counselling, and workshops. These listings will help find a Canada Business centre near you.
Canada Business
The main Web site of the Canada Business Network makes it easy to find the business information you're looking for with information organized by topic and links to each provincial or territorial site.
Alberta Business Link Business Service Centre
Easy-to-navigate site with tons of valuable information, resources, and support services for the Albertan entrepreneur. The centre also offers a full slate of business workshops.
British Columbia Business Service Centre
The site offers an excellent variety of business tools such as the Online Small Business Workshop, Interactive Business Planner, and various small business guides.
Info Entrepreneurs: Quebec Business Service Centre
An impressive array of business information and resources, including consultation services and a series of Info-Guides. The site is searchable, or you can use their "Talk To Us" service to talk to a Business Information Officer (bilingual).
Manitoba Business Service Centre
This site is an excellent resource for Manitoban entrepreneurs. From this title page, it's easy to access information on business topics, government programs and services, trade, or access the Interactive Business Planner. There's even success stories. Top marks.
Newfoundland and Labrador Business Service Centre
This service centre shares the same design and information limitations as the New Brunswick Business Service Centre site. Basic solid information on basic business topics.
New Brunswick Business Service Centre
Business guides, a small business tool box for start-up and planning, and a directory of government programs and services for business.
Yukon Business Service Centre
The Canada Yukon Business Centre provides a wealth of business information for any level of business expertise, from start up through established.
Northwest Territories Business Service Centre
Very basic page that gives the address of the service centre, and documents with information on starting a small business and government programs, services, and regulations. For more, you'll have to visit the other provincial business centres.
Nova Scotia Business Service Centre
This business service site is identical to the Newfoundland and New Brunswick sites; it's a good reference for basic business information and government programs and services, although, as I've already said, the site design is messy and it would be nice to see more online services for business people.
Nunavut Business Service Centre
While this site is new, it already looks better than the BSC sites for N.B., N.S., and Newfoundland; the site design is cleaner, uncluttered by huge icons, making the organization of the site easier to see at a glance, and besides basic business information and government programs and services, there are links to the Interactive Business Planner and an Online Small Business Workshop.
Ontario Business Service Centre
This business service centre's front page leads to masses of information on business start-up, development, financing, and government programs.
Prince Edward Island Business Service Centre
Like its maritime counterparts, this BSC site is cluttered with overly large icons; the site offers standard information on small business services and government programs and not much else.
Saskatchewan Business Service Centre
A model of what a BSC site should be, this site has superior ease of navigation and offers a full range of small business services for Saskatchewan small business owners, including discussion groups, a FAQ, and an Online Small Business Workshop and Interactive Business Planner.
