Importance list
- I live off my list. However it isn't a standard list, it's an importance list. I mark each item down in 3 categorizes, RED = Very important needs to be done ASAP!; BLUE = needs to get done today sometime; GREEN = Not very important, can be left for tomorrow. This system makes sure I'm aware of all the things to do and each one instantly is given an importance. The following day I spend 5 minutes writing out my new list. GREEN becomes BLUE, BLUE (if any) becomes RED. I also make sure I finish work at the same time every day, at 5:30 everything gets put away, cleaned up and ready for tomorrow. This gives you a deadline and a sense of urgency!

Eat the Frog first!
- I also loved the book "Eat That Frog!" The thing that has stayed with me is to tackle the thing you least want to do first! Once that is done, you feel really empowered. Be reasonable about goals for the day, the week & the month, marking them off . When doing house work, I "bribe" myself after each section is finished by reading a magazine article, having a snack, etc.

managing tips
- I make a list for each day. For example, Monday cleaning and washing - whatever the needs are for that day. Holidays I start a week before - maybe two weeks, depending on the Holiday - making my list, setting my table, getting all the dishes clean and puting a note in each dish of what goes in the dish. I get the recipes put together and the items bought. Basically I fix what I can in advance.

Keep away distractions
- I keep my cell phone silent, log off from mails and concentrate fully on finishing a single task at a time. This keeps distraction away and improves efficiency at work.

my tip to overcome procrastination?
- I don't create a to-do list... I create a "there...that's done" list. It energizes you as you fill the list with accomplishments vs. the old "to-do" list that overwhelms. On days when I feel like there is just way too much to do, I look at my "done" lists and know I can and I have managed and, therefore, I WILL manage it all again today!

Remember Your Limits
- Old saws worth saying over and over to yourself: "No one can do everything." "Rome wasn't built in a day." I have had to break the habit of saying "I can do that." Remember that you have limits and keep them in mind as you plan your month, week, and day. Over-scheduling yourself is a horrible stress-inducer, and must be guarded against. I've also had to remember to give myself three times more time to accomplish tasks than I think it will take. That gives me the planned time to seriously evaluate as I go, as well as lifting off the time-crunch stress. By using both of these strategies, I've become much more efficient and effective in the tasks I do take on.

Time management tip
- My most successful management tip goes something like this: Don't do today that which you can put off to tomorrow.

Know Time killer
- KNOW AND BE AWARE OF YOUR TIME WASTERS OR TIME KILLERS. MAKE A LIST OF THOSE TIME WASTERS AND PRIORITISE THEM AND DISCARD SOME OF THEM IF NOT OF USE. REMEMBER TIME WASTERS MAY BE YOUR FRIENDS, RADIO / TELEVISION, EMAILS, PHONES, USE LESS NOVELS, SLEEPING, SEATING WITHOUT WORK AND MOST IMPORTANT IS LAZYNESS.

List with Priority
- Always start with your ToDo list and based on understanding mark priority to it. If there is confusion always seek mentoring from someone with experience. If there is no one to guide you, then write all prons and cons on paper and decide the priority for the TODOs.

For working Mom: Avoid "morning blues"
- 1. Before going home see to it that your car has gas the following morning. 2. Prepare the food (thaw, marinate, slice, etc) in the evening. 3. Ready the clothes, shoes, bag and accessories you will wear to the office. Do the same for Dad and the school kids. 4. Ask the school kids for their activities the following day. 5. Charge your phone before sleeping. 6. Organize your thoughts and write/plan the next day activities in the evening. 7. Do as much work as you can before going to bed. Coordinate with Dad. 8. Set the alarm clock. 9. Pray. Sleep with relaxing music. 10. Wake up smiling!
