Poll: What's the Hardest Part of Starting a Business?
Tuesday August 21, 2007
What’s the hardest part of starting a business?
I think the choices in this poll are self-explanatory except perhaps for 'physically starting the business'. I was thinking of all those things that you have to do to physically get your business up and running, such as finding and possibly renovating business premises, creating or buying inventory or setting up an office.
But when I was discussing this poll with a friend, she said that the 'physically starting a business' choice brought to mind her struggle to get the courage up to go out on her own. I have to agree that this could fit into this category too and could certainly be the hardest part of starting a business for some, don't you?
Feel free to comment below, especially if you've chosen the 'Other' category as your vote.
- Coming up with a solid business idea.
- Finding the money to get started.
- Doing a business plan.
- Getting all the necessary registrations and licensing done.
- Physically starting the business.
- Finding and/or hiring staff.
- Other.
