Isn't it frustrating when you know there must be an article on a particular topic, but you just can't seem to locate it? Or you've found a great page several days ago but you just can't seem to find it again? The About Small Business: Canada site includes more than 1,000 pages of small business information, and while all the information is organized, what makes sense to me may not be the most logical organization choice for you.
This page will help you find whatever you need on the About Small Business: Canada site, from indexes and articles through community features such as newsletters, chat, and forums.
Finding Articles
Articles is the page to visit to find the most recent articles on the site. If you don't see what you want on this first page, you can continue to read through the article listings.
To find articles on a particular topic, you can click on the appropriate Subject listed on the navigation menu on the left side of any page on the Small Business: Canada site. For instance, if you want to know what information belongs in the marketing plan section of the business plan, you can find it by clicking on the Business Plans subject, where you'll find the article, "Writing The Business Plan - The Marketing Plan" listed.
An even faster way to find a business article on a particular topic is to use the Search box at the top of any page. Just enter the topic you're searching for, make sure the following box is set to "in this topic", and you'll quickly get a list of all the information on the site relating to your search term.
Finding Essentials
The Essentials at the top of the left side navigation menu lists some of the most popular articles and features on Small Business: Canada. But there are other features that you may find equally "essential", such as:
The Business Quotations Index - A collection of quotations to inspire and amuse you.
The Business Tips Library - Practical marketing, management, and miscellaneous business tips to help you increase your business' success.
The Business Terms Glossary - Definitions and resources for a collection of terms related to small business.
The "home" for many of the essential features is the Business Reference Information library.
