Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why does About use frames on links to other sites?

About uses frames to help visitors navigate between About sites and others on the Internet. About's use of frames is in no way intended to represent these linked sites as part of About.

The frame clearly marks the framed content as a "Featured Link." If you are ever uncertain whether or not a particular page is from an About site, just look for the About copyright information and user agreement at the very bottom of the page. If it is not there and the "Featured Link" frame is, the displayed page is not part of About.

If you have problems with About's frames or if you simply dislike them and want to tell someone about it, write About and let them know. If you object to frames being used to link to your site, request removal.
