How do I submit a link?
How do I suggest a site?
Every request
will be considered, but not all sites are accepted. To increase your chances
of being added to the highly selective directory of links, please follow these
guidelines.
How to submit a site to About Small Business Canada:
- Send the URL via email to sbinfocanada.guide@about.com with "Submit URL" in the Subject line.
- Indicate which Subject category or sub-category you feel the site belongs in or suggest a new category.
- Do suggest the URL that directly relates to the category and contains the relevant content (deep link).
- Suggest a title and description for your submission. While I reserve the right to change titles and descriptions, quality suggestions without marketing hype, may be used as submitted.

You may submit more than one URL in a single email. Be sure to note the requested information for each link submitted.
Selection Criteria for Suggested Links:
- Most accepted submissions are deep links to a specific page in your site.
- If you use URL hiding or other techniques that make deep links difficult, your submission may not be accepted.
- If your site uses frames, make sure you have provided a way for a visitor to access the other parts of your site and deep link.
- Pages should be fast loading with intuitive navigation.
- Content should be well-written and easy-to-follow.
- Submissions that are only lists of links will usually not be accepted.
- Splash pages and home pages will not normally be considered.
Since I receive many submissions each week, your patience is appreciated. The review process typically takes 6-8 weeks. Submissions that follow these guidelines are usually added sooner. Submissions that do not follow these guidelines are placed at the bottom of the queue and receive the least priority.
All accepted sites will receive a confirmation email with a link to the location of your submission. If you haven't heard back within 12 weeks, you may resubmit your site.
